GIOVANA
REAY

Giovana started Host Families NZ Limited in 2010. After learning more about her market, she created a strategy to improve and grow the market of homestay families in New Zealand. Giovana personally does the homestay inspection, meets with schools and agents, and takes pride in overseeing the whole operation.

A Brazilian native, Giovana now lives in rural Auckland with her family. Giovana’s goal is to offer the memorable and rewarding experience of hosting an international student to all types of families in New Zealand.

RUTH
VARGAS

Ruth plans, organises and controls the operation, dealing mainly with placements of students to the families. She also attends to the requests, concerns and needs of the students, schools and agents. On top of this, she is also managing the coordination between school and host families. And she does it all with a smile on her face!

Ruth is also one of HFNZ’s host families, an experienced host in hosting and handling international students.

DANIELA
PINTO-SILVA

Daniela plans, organises and controls the operation in Wellington, dealing mainly placements of students to the families. She also attends to the requests, concerns and needs of the students, schools and agents.

LEOVIE
APRILYN BRION

April ensures the smooth running of an office on a day-to-day basis and manages a team of administrative or support staff. She’s responsible for the efficient functioning of an office through a range of administrative, financial and managerial tasks.

JACKIE
HSU

Jackie organises and controls the operation in Auckland, mainly placements of students to the families. She also attends to the requests, concerns and needs of the students, schools and agents.

KAY
ROGERS

Kay handles Unitec placements of students to the families. She also attends to the requests, concerns and needs of the students, schools and agents as well as managing the coordination between school and host families.

TONI
MASSICKS

Toni inspects and organise homestay placements in North Shore. She lives with her family on Auckland’s North shore where she enjoys showing visitors around and introducing them to local culture. Although born in New Zealand, she has lived in other countries and love to travel.

MARCOS
COELHO

Marcos helps with administrative and clerical tasks such as preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems.
